I recommend following the measurements as this is a more fitted two piece. I will say that if you have a larger butt or chest you should size up. The skirt is very short.
I got compliments on this outfit and it looks more expensive than the price I paid for it. Held up well in the wash and I will be wearing it again. Unique looking and fits my style / personality.
